Graduation ‘16

On Friday, May 13, we will celebrate the graduation of our 7 seniors. All Providence families are invited, and we would love for you to celebrate with us! Commencement exercises will begin at 7 p.m. in the FBC Belton Main Sanctuary. A reception will follow in the gym. We will have a “money tree” stationed in the gym as an option if you would like to give money to the graduates (the total amount of the money tree will be split 7 ways).

 

Used Uniform and Curriculum Sale

Don’t forget our sale will be held on the last day of school, May 12th, in the gym. So clean out those drawers and shelves and get ready to make some extra cash, or come ready to score some great deals. Details to come to your email inbox soon. Finals Schedule (9th – 12th Grades)

9th – 12th Graders will have a different schedule for the last two days of school (Tuesday, May 10 and Thursday, May 12) to allot more time for final exams. The schedule, similar to the one we used in December, . Note that there is no early dismissal for any grades during Finals week.

Rising Senior Breakfast

The Rising Senior Breakfast will be Thursday, May 12, after chapel, around 8:20, in room 258. This is an occasion where the parents of current Juniors are encouraged to attend if possible. Please RSVP to .

 

 

 

May 10th PK – 1st music in chapel

Please join us as our Pre-K through 1st grade students showcase what they’ve learned in music this semester. Our Kindergarten and 1st grade students have had a fun time learning some traditional songs from Renaissance time period (you’ll even get to hear some Old English!) and our Pre-K will perform some wonderful movements to classic piece by DVorak.

Free Dress Day on the last day of school

No uniforms are required on our last school day, May 12th.  Please keep these guidelines from our family handbook in mind:

  • Shorts and skirts should be near knee length
  • Clothing should be modest. No excessively tight clothes, low-cut necklines, midriffs, low-fitting waistlines, or any slogan or message that is inappropriate.
  • Jeans should fit very close to waist; no holes. No tights.

 

 

2014-2015 Yearbooks are IN!

You will LOVE strolling down Memory Lane when you see the yearbook! Packed with photos! Buy one for each of your students so they won’t fight over it. They will be on sale at pick-up Tuesday and Thursday for $25 each. (And if one of you would like to volunteer to sit at a table at the entrance to sell them, we would be grateful!)
