3rd-6th Grade Art Show April 25th

Join us upstairs in the landing for some art, cookies, and punch.  Lovely works of art will line our hallways and treats will be served from 3:00-4:00pm. We’ll leave pieces up through Thursday in case you need a second chance to take a look.  If you are able to help hang art or serve cookies and punch, please email jen.riddle@provprep.org.

Prayer Team meets April 18th

Join us for a brief time of prayer for our school.  We’ll meet in the library meeting room after chapel until 9:00am.

String Quartet Concert on Thursday

During chapel we will host the Temple Symphony String Quartet, made up of Waco and Temple musicians, who will be playing a few songs representing the cultures of Texas. This is a great opportunity to expose our students to great music by great musicians.  Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy.

Graduation ‘17

On Friday, May 12, we will celebrate the graduation of our 11 seniors, our biggest class ever!  All Providence families are invited, and we would love for you to celebrate with us! Commencement exercises will begin at 7 p.m. at Temple Bible Church (note the different location than past years). A reception will follow.

Libby Kiniry and Hannah Wiese held a Lemonade stand and raised over $57.00 for “Loose Change to Loosen Chains.”  Thank you, Libby and Hannah!

Thank you for the chili (and cornbread!)

Thank you to all of our parents who provided a little taste of Texas for our 1st-4th graders.  All of our “entries” were delicious and our students were the winners!

Home-Day Labs in 2017-18

You may be in a situation where you could use assistance with homeschooling on home days. For this reason, Providence has instituted the home day “lab” program on Wednesdays for 1st through 6th grades. In labs, students attend the school (8:30 – 2:55) in a small group of about 5 students of mixed grade levels. A teacher assists these students in completing their home-day assignments.

The cost for 2017-18 Wednesday labs will be $1707 for the year.  If you are interested in Labs for the 2017-18 school year, please contact Mrs. Stafford at colleen.stafford@provprep.org  These spots may fill quickly.
