How to Apply

Our Admissions Process

Our thorough admissions process is designed to help you determine if Providence would be a good fit for your family’s needs and educational goals.

Providence Preparatory School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational, admission, financial aid or employment policies, or any other programs administered by the school.

  • 1. Attend an informational meeting.

These 90 minute-long meetings are scheduled monthly (at varying days and times; see “Informational Meetings and Campus Tours” for dates, times, and location) and provide the best introduction to the school. Admission packets are available to families who have attended an informational meeting. Childcare is not provided.

Please note that families may submit an application prior to attending an informational meeting but will be asked to attend one prior to the completion of the admissions process.
  • 2. Read and pray.

Read the admissions packet that includes information on the classical approach, the blended model, and our philosophy of education. Prayerfully consider your family’s needs and educational goals and whether Providence could help you meet those goals. Additional resources you may want to consider as you learn about Providence are listed below. Please note that although these works as a whole have influenced our philosophy, we do not necessarily hold to each element of the authors’ ideas in the core values or practices of Providence.
    • Wisdom and Eloquence, Robert Littlejohn and Charles Evans
    • “The Lost Tools of Learning,” Dorothy Sayers
    • The Case for Christian and Classical Education, Doug Wilson
    • “Education Is,” Sonya Shafer
    • Kingdom Education, Glen Schultz
