About Us: Our Core Distinctives

At Providence, we are committed to partnering with dedicated families in providing a Christian, college-preparatory education. Our school has three core distinctives:

Christian perspective. We approach learning from a sense of wonder. We are amazed by God’s saving kindness to us, and by His glory that we see in all of life.  All staff and board members affirm a view of life that is awe-inspired, historically Christian, and broadly evangelical.

Classical approach. Classical education emphasizes how to learn rather than how to attain a given level of competency in individual subjects. Our time-tested curriculum and methodology aligns with the child’s natural developmental stages: grammar, logic, and rhetoric.

University-style schedule. Students in Fourth Grade or lower attend classes led by professional teachers on Tuesday and Thursday, while students in Fifth Grade or higher attend class Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Teachers provide detailed assignments for students to complete at home on the remaining weekdays, where parents serve as “co-teachers.” This approach promotes family time, academic performance, efficiency, accountability, and preparation for the college schedule.

We desire to serve Bell County with a cost-effective tuition and a centrally located campus. We would love to tell you more, so please feel free to contact us.

Deuteronomy 6:5-7
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
